TEHRAN -- The play “Betrothal of Violet” will be staged at Zanjan’s Imam Cultural Center from August 11 to 18, the Mehr News Agency reported on Tuesday.

The play will be performed in both Persian and English, with each show lasting 45 minutes.

“The play’s style is satirical realism. It can be a great help for students of English,” director Shahrokh Rahmani said.

The play will be performed by Rahmani himself and five other actors, Somayyeh Borji, Maryam Mohammadiun, Mohammad Amin Najafi, Hesam Yusefi Pur, and Somayyeh Ashuri, he added.
